Bleisure travel, the fusion of business trips with leisure activities, has been quietly reshaping the way we approach work and travel. Surprisingly, it's not just a passing trend – it's a movement that's gaining momentum by the day.

Did you know that there's been a staggering 40% increase in business travelers extending their stays for leisure activities? That's right – more professionals are seizing the opportunity to blend work with wanderlust, creating a new paradigm of travel that's as productive as it is enjoyable.

For many, myself included, the concept of working remotely while exploring new destinations isn't entirely novel. However, discovering that this phenomenon had a name – and was on the rise – was a revelation. It's a testament to the evolving nature of work and our increasing desire for flexibility and adventure. That’s why next week I’m starting a new series that will feature hotels (and maybe even cruises!) that provide the digital nomad the best bleisure experiences! You can follow along here and on instagram at Check In Clock In - https://www.instagram.com/chec...

I know that at first glance, the idea of setting up your office in a hotel might seem unconventional. But when you consider the myriad benefits, it's easy to see why it's becoming a popular choice. Hotels offer a professional environment that's conducive to productivity, with comfortable workspaces and amenities like printing and meeting rooms readily available.

Plus, hotels are designed to cater to the needs of guests, making them an ideal choice for remote workers seeking convenience and comfort. From room service to fitness centers, and even concierge services, hotels provide a level of support that can enhance productivity and overall well-being.

And let's not forget about the perks of working from a hotel – lightning-fast Wi-Fi, gourmet dining options, and the luxury of having room service just a call away. It's no wonder that hotel offices are increasingly seen as the ultimate productivity playground.

But it's not just individual remote workers who are embracing this trend. Companies are also recognizing the value of "workcations" – organized trips where teams gather in a hotel for a mix of work and leisure activities. These experiences foster team bonding, creativity, and collaboration in a relaxed setting, away from the confines of traditional office spaces.

Bleisure travel represents a shift towards a more balanced and fulfilling approach to work and life. It's about embracing opportunities for adventure and exploration without sacrificing professional goals. So if you’ve got a hotel that I need to check out, let me know! I’m on a mission to bleisure with the best!
