Baked Brie in Puff Pastry

We always started Christmas Eve with lots of small bites. Baked Brie in Puff Pastry was always a favorite of ours.

Baked Brie in Puff Pastry

  • Servings: 8
  • Prep Time: 19 min
  • Cooking Time: 25 min

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cup of walnuts
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar
  • 8 ounce wheel of brie
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon of water

Preparation

  1. ​Roll out puff pastry into a square. Add 2 tablespoons of butter into a skillet, add ¼ cup nuts into the melted butter, cook until the nuts become fragrant. Add brown sugar and stir in.
  2. Lay brie into the puff pastry, and then top with the nuts, butter, and brown sugar. Fold the puff pastry over the brie. Mix 1 egg with 1 tablespoon of water, and lightly brush the egg wash over the brie. Bake the brie at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
