This burger was created when "just a burger" wasn't enough, my husband and son are athletes and needed a large amount of protein but I wanted it from lean source SO the Bacon, Turkey Burger was created Handmade turkey burger patty, bacon, fried egg, swiss cheese, avocado & bacon Cholula sauce on a whloe grain bun
Burkey Turger
- Servings: 4 patties

Ingredients
- 2 pounds Extra Lean ground Turkey
- 1small onion chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms
- ½ c ground oats
- 5 eggs
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 8 Lean bacon cooked crispy
- 4 Whole grain buns
- ¼ C Cholula sauce
- 1 tbsp Bacon crumbles
- ½ C Olive oil mayo
- Avacado
- Lettuce
- Pickles
- Tomato
Preparation
- Mix burger, onion, mushrooms, egg in a large bowl
- Form ½ pound patties pressing thumb into the middle for indentation
- Place on grill or stove top approx 8 minutes on each side and cook to 165 degrees
- For sauce mix bacon crumbles, cholula sauce and mayo
- Add cheese to burgers
- Spread Cholula Bacon Sauce on each bun half
- Fry eggs over easy
- Place cooked burger on bun and top with 1 egg, 2 slices of bacon each and avacado
- top with 1 egg, 2 slices of bacon each and avacado
- Lettuce and tomato for garnish
