I’ve been dying to share this cheeseburger recipe.
The past few weeks I’ve had a recipe rolling around in my head driving me insane. At night I’ve been up late thinking about what I could do to create a unique spin on the classic cheeseburger.
First I tried my hand at stuffed cheeseburgers, and that was an utter and total FAIL.
Yeah, trying to figure out how to keep cheese inside a hamburger is an art I haven’t mastered yet.
But the funny thing is even though my attempt at stuffed cheeseburgers was a fail, it developed into this burger which will be the best burger you’ll ever make.
Yeah that totally sounded obnoxious, but after taking a bite out of this Sulguni double cheeseburger you’ll be saying, with bits of burger stuck between your teeth, “Wow, she was right.”
This cheeseburger recipe is very basic. It’s simply “Four Seasons Dairy” shredded russian sulguni cheese, fresh jalapeño, Kraft barbecue sauce, and lots of seasoning.
But really that’s the secret to any great cheeseburger recipe, lots of seasoning and great cheese.
Ohh, and the bread. You gotta have great bread. No really, don’t put these sulguni cheeseburger patties on inferior hamburger buns.
When I was crafting this cheeseburger recipe together in my mind I kept thinking how awesome it would be on a brioche bun, and how I refused to serve my cheeseburger patties on 99 cents hamburger buns.
Not to knock cheap hamburger buns, but….well *wags finger* not in my house.
So after I made a dash to Walmart for my barbecue sauce I picked up some nice terra rolls. Needless to say, that the original sulguni can be bought only in the original russian grocery, but you can give it a try, and take a look around in your neighborhood.
Oh and because this cheeseburger recipe is quite extra indeed, and reminds me of the time I went outside the box and made Brown Sugar Bacon Pecans, I want you to take this cheeseburger up a notch and drizzle hickory smoke barbecue sauce over your patties and lather your buns with jalapeño cream cheese.
I mean you could play it safe and keep it simple with buns, patties, onions, and tomatoes only.
But, I think you should live a little.
Now excuse me as I go finish this cheeseburger I started….
