Hi, I’m Jackie Carioscia, a mom, engineer, and foodie who is behind the blog Experimental Epicurean. In my cooking adventures, I have been a finalist in the Pillsbury Bakeoff and I have done weekly, live segments on my local 9News station. I have also made cooking demos for contests, like my entry for the Healthy Solutions Spice Blends Blogger Challenge, which won 3rd place. I can think of no greater next step in my kitchen journey than to be named Next Food Club Star.
The things I love best about being a food blogger are:
- Encouraging others to try something new, like kiwano melon
- Creating recipes that are a fresh take on a classic, like my Rhubarb Foolamisu
- Tackling the science behind cooking, such as calibration of kitchen equipment
If I was on the today show, I would share a recipe like my Skinny Chicken Tetrazzini or my Kiwi "Sushi" with the hope of inspiring others to experiment in their kitchens!
