My brother-in-law is very sick and sister spends all day at hospital bedside. Understandably she is too tried to cook, or even eat.
I'm looking for suggestions that I can prepare and leave at her home. So she has nothing to do but load it on a fork and stick it in her mouth.
So far it has been chicken&dumplings, beef stew(Boeuf Bourguignon), Coq Au Vin. These all survive sitting in slow cooker until she gets home.
How does Shepard's or cottage pie standup to freeze and microwave re-heat?
