We always started Christmas Eve with lots of small bites. Baked Brie in Puff Pastry was always a favorite of ours.
Baked Brie in Puff Pastry

Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 4 tablespoons butter
- ¼ cup of walnuts
- ¼ cup of brown sugar
- 8 ounce wheel of brie
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of water
Preparation
- Roll out puff pastry into a square. Add 2 tablespoons of butter into a skillet, add ¼ cup nuts into the melted butter, cook until the nuts become fragrant. Add brown sugar and stir in.
- Lay brie into the puff pastry, and then top with the nuts, butter, and brown sugar. Fold the puff pastry over the brie. Mix 1 egg with 1 tablespoon of water, and lightly brush the egg wash over the brie. Bake the brie at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
