This is my go-to morning breakfast when I need something healthy, easy and fast to start the day! You can add more oats or extra nuts/nut better to make it more filling and fibrous!
Glorious Green Smoothie
- Yield: 1 serving
- Prep Time: 5 min
Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 5-8 raw walnuts or 1 Tablespoon nut butter
- 1 inch peeled fresh ginger
- ¼ cup oats
- ½ cup - 1 cup water (depending on consistency) *You can also use a plant-based milk if you want your smoothy to be extra creamy!
- 2 large handfuls spinach
- ½ frozen banana
- ½ frozen berries, or any fruit of your liking!
Preparation
- Add ingredients in order listed to high speed blender and blend until you reach desired consistency, adding more water as needed.
