This recipe is built on a combo of both my mother and my mother in laws. It is a fluffy delicious Native American fry bread complete with a bison chili, hand shredded cheddar cheese and locally grown ingredients such as lettuce, heirloom tomatoes, onion and a local salsa.

Ingredients
- Flour
- Salt
- Milk
- Baking powder
- Sugar
- Water
- Cheddar cheese
- Chopped onion
- thinly sliced lettuce
- Salsa
- Sour cream
- Sliced tomato
- Four types of bean
- SPICEs
- Onion
- GARLic
- Tomato
- GROund bison
- Water
- Frying oil
Preparation
- Brown bison
- In same pot add spices, tom, onion, garlic, beans
- Simmer chili for two hours
- Combine dry ingredients
- Add water and milk
- Mix well, do not over work
- Pay out bread to flat circle, peirce bread
- Bring oil to 350
- Fry bread for few moments until golden brown
- Top chili, produce and cheese on bread
- Eat with napkins and maybe a bib

- fry bread can be enjoyed in numerous ways. As breakfast with maple syrup, cinn and sugar, powder sugar, honey, even salt at lunch. Add cheese or stuff like a pocket or pita. I love it with huckleberry jam.
