Growing up in Australia my mother was often influenced by Asian flavors. I've tweaked this slightly over the years but it's amazing how 5 simple ingredients can create huge mouth-watering flavors. You'll never order in again! ;)

5-Ingredient Juicy Thai Style Chicken

  • Yield: 4 servings
  • Prep Time: 10 min
  • Cooking Time: 10 min

  • 4 to 6 chicken thighs
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbpsn sesame oil
  • 1 tbpsn honey
  • 1 tbpsn fish sauce
  • 1 tbpsn grated ginger

  1. 1. Toss all the above ingredients in a ziplock bag or bowl for a minimum of 4 hours. Refrigerate.
  2. 2. Remove, pat dry with a paper towel, season, grill on med/high heat for 4 to 5 mins per side.
  3. 3. Garnish w finely chopped chili if you like, dry roasted sesame seeds, eat, heaven. I said it was easy right?

Save your leftovers and turn them into the perfect lunch salad (below).

In a bowl add finely cut red peppers, snow peas, green onion and cilantro. Whip up a dressing using the identical ingredients you used for the marinade except instead of ⅓ cup of soy use 1 tbspn (1 tbspn of all ingredients). Dress your salad, add your chicken and garnish with extra cilantro and roasted sesame seeds. Even better the next day!
