Hi, my name is Brooke Thomas and I help empower women to make healthier choices through simple and practical lifestyle changes starting in the kitchen. Believe it or not, I actually have to thank cancer for that! Before my diagnosis, I was terrified in the kitchen. Then I decided to change my fad-diet ways and get totally and truly healthy. Now I am 10 years cancer-free and love developing new recipes that fuel my family, but taste so good you forget they are good for you! My two girls are my taste testers and they take their jobs very seriously.

I am the author of two cookbooks: The Thankful 30 and the Thankful 30 Crock Pot edition. 5 of my crock pot recipes were recently featured on ivankatrump.com. They are great for #womenwhowork. I love it when the kitchen smells like I’ve been cooking all day while I’ve really been out ‘doing life’.
For the last 6 years, I have shared my recipes in regular appearances on various TV stations in Charlotte, North Carolina. This breakfast frittata with a sweet potato crust in the crock pot is a crowd favorite. I hope that with each appearance people learn more from me than just a recipe.

I know the segments are longer than what’s on the TODAY Show but don’t worry, I am used to adjusting the time as needed. I’ve spoken for an hour to large corporations and schools and condensed a recipe down to just a few minutes on TV. My message about health is always the same.
What I want to show TODAY Show viewers is that dinner time doesn’t have to be stressful and that healthy doesn’t mean you can never have dessert.

I want to teach people what I’ve learned as a Certified Nutritional Consultant and founder of 360 Your Life , that food can build health in our bodies. It doesn’t mean you have to get rid of all the old favorites you love. It just means you might need to make a few adjustments, like with these two classic soup favorites.

I want to remind people that healthy can be delicious without lots of ingredients or complicated steps. Recently I became a member of the Today Food Club and my first recipe for Chicken Burrito Bowls was featured on the most popular tab!

If my story can help someone desperately frustrated in the kitchen feel like they can cook, or change an attitude about health, then I will have done my job.
