Children need to be guided with suggested kind behaviour. We can only guide them and motivate then rather then tell them. In this manner you are redirecting social behaviours that lead by example. If a child feels peer domination they can refer to other children around them performing the same tasks and have a "copy cat" of good behaviour.

I will always challenge a child to repeat kind behaviour. Picking something up for another if it has dropped. Calling out a positive initiative. Describing children using positivity and kindness. Guiding children in the home and in social engagements using a mentor, sibling, family member or other child as the guide is the successful key to building strong relationship. This forms a bond of kindness. Once this bond is established kindness can be an easy task for children. Together children will endure positive reaction. They can develop trust, create consistency - flow of non judgemental reactions and just simply positive energy radiating off one another. This is successful with as little as two and also groups of children learning together.
