Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

In a season full of holiday cheer, family tradition, and memory making, moms are at the center of orchestrating every last detail. They are the thoughtful gift givers and wardrobe coordinators for family photos. They initiate decorating the house right after Thanksgiving. Moms make sure that everyone is taken care of when they're sick or that the kids' coats still fit after a year of sitting in the closet. They bake cookies and traditional family favorites. They are Mrs. Claus.

Dear Mrs. Claus,

I see you. Thank you for everything you do to make Christmas a success year after year. Though Santa might get all the credit on Christmas Day, I know just how much you've done behind the scenes and you deserve the proper credit and recognition that has eluded you all these years.

The photos get taken and cherished, despite the whines and cries that someone is hot and itchy or can't find their smile in the moment it takes to snap a portrait. The dishes pile up as you spend an entire day creating a feast for loved ones, certain they are satisfied by the look in their eyes. Your free hours are spent scouring the shelves or the internet for just the right gift for just the right person so they know that they are heard and loved.

These thoughtful gestures aren't just reserved for the holidays. No, this is the selfless nature of motherhood all year long. Moms, this year, take a moment to slow down and really appreciate the special memories you're creating for your loved ones. You are amazing with the joy and love you give year after year!

Read more about this in my recent blog post devoted to putting more focus on moms and Mrs. Claus this holiday season. Give Mrs. Claus the credit she deserves this year!
