Remove chemicals from lettuce. Place the head, in a bath of cold salted water and swirl.
How do I dry the lettuce? Get a clean pillow case. Put the lettuce inside and tie the case.
Put the lettuce in the spin cycle of the washing machine.
Then, make sure the setting is towards the end of the cycle. You don't want water spraying out. Now spin it! : It is perfection. ;)
