Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

Ladies, What Is Wrong With Us?

Ladies, I want to say something to you.

However, before I do, please know that this is coming from a place of absolute love.

Now, this platform isn't extremely large, nor do I have hundreds of thousands of followers that spread my content all over the world, but if any of my words can make a large impact, I want this message to be it.

I have felt this way for a while, but the Superbowl Halftime show really put me over the edge. Almost every single time I would hop on social media, I would see it.

The negativity.

The nasty comments.

The ugliness.

There was honestly so much yuck, I didn’t even want to write about it, since I felt like my message of positivity would just get lost among the hate.

The worst part was, it was almost always coming from women ABOUT women.

Okay, I'm not here to argue over opinions. I'm not here to tell you whether or not it was appropriate for your children to watch. I'm not even here to share MY opinion on the show itself.

I am here, however, to ask one thing.

What is wrong with us?

How can we ask for respect and support from others, when we don't even give it to each other?

Those women (Jennifer Lopez & Shakira) up there are 50 and 43, and it is obvious that they work damn hard for those bodies.

It shouldn't matter that they are Latinas.

Or celebrities.

Or danced on poles.

Or shook their boobs.

Or flaunted their hips and tush.

Or if you think their singing, or their performance, in general, sucked.

It matters that they are women showing their pride in BEING women.

They are showing that no matter how old you are, or how you feel in your own skin, you should be PROUD of who you are.

AND 👏🏻 WE 👏🏻 SHOULD 👏🏻 LOVE 👏🏻 THAT 👏🏻

So please, ladies, PLEASE. Stop knocking each other down. Stop with the insults. Stop with the judgment.

You don't have to agree with every decision she makes, how she parents her kids, or how she chooses to feel sexy, but we should always show our support, regardless of how we feel.

And if we don't, I suppose we should just follow the age-old adage, no matter how clichè it is--

If we don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

That'll always be sexy.
