Popcorn Turkey Treat Bags
Give the gift of Thanksgiving treats. Your kids will love making these fun popcorn turkey treat bags, and their friends will love receiving them! There's nothing like having my kids in the kitchen with me while I cook and bake. This is the perfect time to talk about all of the things we are thankful for!
This easy recipe will make 6 treat bags!
What’s Needed
- Popcorn (Popped)
- Peanut M&M’s Harvest Color & Regular Color (only need if you want green)
- Plain M&M’s (just need red for the wattle)
- Clear disposable gloves
- Twist ties
- Orange, black, & white construction paper
- Glue
Take a disposable glove and fill each finger with a different color of peanut M&M.
Then, fill thumb about ½ way with red plain M&Ms.
Fill the rest of glove with your cooled popped popcorn and close with a twist tie.
Take your orange construction paper and cut out a triangle for the beak. Cut out a white circle for the eye and a smaller black circle for the pupil.
Take your black circle and glue it on top of your white circle to create your eye. You could always color the black circles with a sharpie if that's easier. Whatever works for you.
Glue your eye on right above the wattle (thumb). Twist the thumb and glue your beak where you twisted it. (You could also use a twist tie to tie the thumb).
Your all set, they’re all ready to Gobble!
