Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

KINDNESS; TEACHING OUR CHILDREN TO BE ACCEPTING OF OTHERS.

CHILDREN LEARN BY EXAMPLE, PRIMARILY FROM TRUSTED, LOVING, CARETAKERS.
PARENTS AND CARETAKERS NEED TO TEACH CHILDREN THAT ALL PEOPLE BEGIN EQUAL. IF LIFE HAPPENS, AS IT DOES TO ALL OF US, PEOPLE TEND TO ABSORB THE ATTITUDES OF THOSE AROUND THEM.

IF SOMEONE HAS A VISUAL DISABILITY YOU SHOULDN'T TURN AWAY, BUT ACKNOWLEDGE THE PERSON AS A PERSON.
IF SOMEONE HAS AN ABRASIVE ATTITUDE, EXPLAIN TO THEM THAT WE NEVER KNOW WHERE THE PERSON IN QUESTION CAME FROM, WHAT THEIR BACKGROUND IS, WHY DO THEY FEEL SAD, MAD, MEAN....MAYBE BY BEING KIND TO THAT PERSON HE OR SHE COULD BE THE GAME CHANGER.

HUMAN INTERACTION, ESPECIALLY IN OUR TIME OF THE INTERNET AND POOR COMMUNICATION MAY NEED TO BE TAUGHT. A SIMPLE VERBAL, FACE TO FACE HELLO CAN CHANGE A PERSON'S DEMEANOR FOR THE DAY. GIVE A SMILE, GET A SMILE....BE THE "SCOUT" BY HELPING OTHERS. HOLD A DOOR OPEN FOR SOMEONE BEHIND YOU, PICK UP TRASH IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD, ASK A ELDERLY NEIGHBOR HOW THEIR DAY IS GOING, (AND LISTEN TO THE ANSWER). IT NEVER HURTS TO BE NICE. KIND ACTIONS ARE REMEMBERED.
