Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

My name is Sarah Morris, in March of 2016 I found out I was pregnant, my fiance (Tyler George) and I were ecstatic, everything went relatively well, every appointment went smoothly, the doctors said her due date would be between December 22 and the 26th.. Cut to October 9th, I woke up feeling strange, I couldn't feel my daughter move, I knew something was wrong, we immediately went to the hospital, they kept me for observation, and through that observation they found out her heart rate would slow Amor every ten minutes. So the wonderful doctors intervened, and that night my daughter was born, at two pounds, four ounces, and she was two months early. It was a very scary time, we knew nothing about premature babies, but thankfully our nicu was the best, and we were aloud to room in, we spent literally 61 days in the hospital with our daughter, day and night, the hospital was our home.

And my daughter, through that journey did great, she did need some help breathing because her lungs needed to mature more, and our major setback was when she developed a staph infection through her piccline, which was placed for her to recieve medications, but with the help of antibiotics the infection went away. My daughter taught me about true strength, that something so small could fight so hard, every day, she continued to grow and develope, and every day we got to do more and more with her. Now over a year later, (we celebrated her first birthday on the 9th) she is a rambunctious, adventurous, sweet and beautiful little girl. We are the luckiest parents in the world.
