This year was supposed to be her year (it still is her year, I have to keep reminding her of this). Needless to say, it started out pretty awesome as she and her high school Varsity cheerleading team competed against the best of the best and became this year’s National Champions! Then it all kind of spiraled downward from there. All of this year’s plans have now come to a screeching halt. And although the future may be uncertain, what I know for sure is that this young woman will persevere through it all. She is determined, passionate, and driven to succeed no matter what and those traits are just a few of the reasons why I love her and beyond proud to call her my daughter. She has been accepted to Florida State University where she will attend in the Fall.
