This is a new way to serve your fruit tray! It's a beautiful centerpiece, a great conversation piece, and a super fun and easy food craft.

Edible Fruit Christmas Tree

  • Yield: 1

Ingredients

  • large apple
  • carrot
  • your favorite fruit - I used grapes, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, oragnes, canteloup and pineapple
  • toothpicks
  • Optional - small cookie cutters

Preparation

  1. Shave the botton off of your apple so that it sits flat
  2. Core about ⅓ of your apple so that the carrot can fit in firmly
  3. Place your carrot in your apple
  4. Insert toothpicks into your apple and carrot
  5. Insert fruit on to the toothpicks and create your Christmas Tree
  6. Place a fruit star on top (I used pineapple for this)
