This is one of my absolute favorite breakfasts that doesn't sacrifice flavor. It tastes just like you're drinking a fancy tropical drink, but it has the serious nutrition of spinach and avocado. Everyone wants the benefits of drinking their veggies (glowing skin, more energy), but doesn't want to taste like they're drinking a salad! This smoothie is perfect as a whole breakfast or as a great afternoon pick-me-up snack!
- 8 oz. cup plain coconut water (no sweeteners added)
- 2 frozen ripe bananas, previously peeled and sliced
- 1 cup chopped pineapple (frozen or fresh)
- 1 cup chopped mango (frozen or fresh)
- 2 cups spinach
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1 tbsp. ground flax
Instructions:
Combine everything in a blender and run until smooth! Makes 2 servings.
