This chocolate mousse is delicious, easy to make and completely guilt-free. In fact, it's SO healthy, it may boost your health AND help you LOSE weight thanks to the healthy fats housed in the avocado and coconut milk.
I love to make this for friends who think it's an incredibly naughty treat. When I tell them it's healthy and has avocado in it, they find it hard to believe - and you will too!
Healthy Chocolate Mousse
Servings: 2
You need:
- 1 whole ripe avocado, (remove skin and seed)
- 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder (you can also use carob or cacao powder)
- 2 Tbs 100% organic maple syrup (you can also use honey or brown rice syrup)
- ¼ cup full fat coconut milk
You do:
- Combine all ingredients in food processor and blend until creamy and smooth
- Top with crushed nuts or fresh fruit to serve
- Enjoy!
