Simply the best casserole ever! It's simple, quick, and a family and party favorite

Potato Casserole

Prep Time: 15 min Cooking Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 package southern style hashbrowns
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 16oz contain of sour cream
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • chopped onions and peppers- optional
  • Cornflakes- crushed
  • Olive Oil

Preparation

  1. Preheat over to 350
  2. Spray 11X13 baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil spray
  3. Pour in the hasbrown evenly- if adding chopped peppers and onions mix well with potatoes
  4. Mix sour cream, cream of chicken and cheese together
  5. Spread evenly over the hash browns
  6. Top with a layer of cornflakes- not a lot just enough to cover
  7. Drizzle a little olive oil on top
  8. pop in the over for about an hour till cheese bubbles and is melted

My Aunt used to make this every holiday get together. Its been one of my favorites for years. I make it now for every huge cookout or party we have. I tried once to get by without making it and after I had numerous inquires about it, I decided it was a MUST has dish at every gathering!
