Soft, fluffy breakfast rolls stuffed with sausage, egg, and cheese.

Sausage and Cheese Breakfast Rolls

  • Yield: 10 rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) package breakfast sausage
  • ¼ cup onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2-½ teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten

Preparation

  1. In a medium sized skillet, cook the sausage and onion until the sausage is cooked through.
