I’m Caitlin and I live in New York with my awesome husband of three years, Eric, and our sweet baby girl Lucy.
Motherhood, of course, has been the hardest but most amazing thing I’ve ever done. From struggles with breastfeeding, mom guilt and anxiety, to the triumphs of hearing her say “mama” for the first time and watching her take her first steps, I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.
This summer, I made the decision to leave my full time job in New York City (along with a four hour round trip commute…) and make the leap to full time stay at home mama. In a million years, I never, and I really mean NEVER, would have pictured myself as a SAHM, but now, I can’t imagine my life any other way.
“This Mama Is” is about leaning into your motherhood, whatever that may look like and knowing that you, mama, are more than enough. I hope you leave here feeling like you’re never alone, you’re doing amazing at this crazy mom thing, and that you have a friend in me.
