Debbie Kennedy
Dr. Deb obtained her doctorate in nutritional biochemistry from Tufts University with a focus on nutrition and behavior. Dr. Deb is an adjunct professor in nutrition communication at the University of New Haven. She is the founder of Build Healthy Kids®, which has been used in over 450 schools nationwide. Dr. Deb was the founder of the Integrative Therapies Program for Children with Cancer at Children’s Hospital of NY-Presbyterian. She was the associate director of nutrition at Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center, where she helped to develop the algorithm that went on to create NuVal scores. She worked with Dr. Oz at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in the field of integrative medicine and later created his non-profit FACT. Dr. Deb has written or co-authored 3 books: The Picky Eating Solution, Nutrition Bites, and Beat Sugar Addiction Now! for Kids.
