Janine Halloran
Janine Halloran is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been working with children, adolescents and their families for over 15 years. She is the founder of Encourage Play, a site dedicated to helping kids learn social skills through play. She is also the founder of Coping Skills for Kids where she provides products to help kids cope with big feelings in healthy ways. She is the author of the bestselling Coping Skills for Kids Workbook, written for elementary school aged kids to help them learn to cope with stress, anxiety and anger. Janine has written for Confident Parents, Confident Kids, Hey Sigmund and Bay State Parent Magazine. She has been a guest on the We Turned Out Okay podcast and interviewed by The Boston Globe. In addition, she is a national speaker who shares ideas for coping skills and social skills with educators and families. Janine lives with her husband, son and daughter.
