Jayne Greenberg
Dr. Jayne Greenberg, District Director of Physical Education and Health Literacy at the Miami-Dade County Public Schools has served as Special Adviser on Youth Fitness to the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition; President of Florida Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Dance and Sport; and chaired the Sport Development Committee for the US Olympic Committee. She coordinated part of the Olympic Torch Relay for the Games in Salt Lake City and assisted the US Department of Health and Human Services in the development of “I Can Do It, You Can Do It”, a physical activity program for youth with disabilities. In 2011, she was appointed by President Obama to the President’s Council for Fitness, Sports, & Nutrition and was selected to serve on an Institute of Medicine Committee in 2012. She has received numerous awards including National Physical Education Administrator of the Year from NASPE/AAHPERD.
