Laurie Morrison taught middle school for ten years and now writes middle grade novels for readers who are (or have at one point been) 10-14 years old. She is the author of UP FOR AIR and SAINT IVY and the coauthor of EVERY SHINY THING. Laurie has an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and she lives with her husband and two young children in Philadelphia.
