I'm thrilled to say this is my 17th year teaching high school English. I grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in English Education degree from Millersville University in 2001 and a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning degree from Lock Haven University in 2009. I began my teaching career in the Cornwall-Lebanon School District. I taught three years in this district before moving to State College. This year, I will be teaching 3 sections of Advanced Placement English Language and Composition and 2 sections of English 11. Additionally, I am the co-advisor for the Mock Trial team and the Speech and Debate team.
