I am a mother, a wife, an executive director, a friend, a neighbor, a volunteer, and a daughter. At Born This Way Foundation, I have the privilege of working towards three important and urgent goals every day: to make kindness cool, to validate the emotions of young people around the world, and to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health. I grew up in New Jersey, and shortly after attending Rutgers University, I met a boy from California, and I live outside of San Francisco with him (Dave), our two children, and our two dogs!
