I am a former teacher and current homemaker and community volunteer. I began cooking competitively in 2013 after successfully recovering from my second fight with breast cancer. I have competed in the Pillsbury Bake-Off twice, the World Food Championships twice, the Manischewitz Cook-Off, and the National Cornbread Cook-Off.
