I'm 72 and really get p*&&ed when I'm treated OLD....No, we don't have to accept aches and pains, difficulty with hearing and vision, illness, etc. Why do we work to make things better then at a certain age give up? Please don't start a sentence with "well, at your age...", especially if you are a medical provider.
I love to work up a sweat clearing trees with clippers and a chain saw. I'm up to any physical activity that doesn't boarder on stupidity.
I have expertise in medicine and sleep medicine in particular so I protect my sleep and make it a priority. I love volunteering and all the great experiences it brings.
Then there is the family, kids, grand kids and a great grandson. What a joy.
Retirement is great, just don't treat me OLD!
