That is normally week weeks after the first day of your last period when your cycle is around 28/ days. An egg lives for up to 24 hours after being released and it must be fertilized by man sperm within that time period. Then, the sperm can lips up to 7 days inside a woman. If you consult your family planner doctor regularly about your getting pregnant, you should know exactly when ovulation will happen. If you want to avoid getting pregnant, make sure you don’t have sex without a condom around ovulation.

When a man sperm fertilizes an egg, the 23 chromosomes from the man join with the 23 from the woman to make it 46 which is 23 pairs. Many don’t know that the chromosome from the woman’s egg known as X chromosome is always the same. But the chromosome of a man can be both X and Y chromosome. If the combination is XX, the child will be a girl. If it’s XY, it will be a boy.

4. Using The Condoms

If you are trying not to get pregnant and you have regular sex, using condoms is the most common these days. But you can still get pregnant because condoms work only 97% of the time. You need to know the common condom mistakes and when condoms expire.
