We love watching Disney movies because we are moved by them in some way or the other. Such is the specialty with Disney dog movies. Some Disney dog characters have left a lasting impression in our mind and hearts.

Here is a list of the seven most loved Disney dog characters:
- Bolt (Bolt)
Bolt is a cute, furry animal who is the protagonist of a television series in a movie. In real life, he lives with his owner, Penny. Since Bolt has super powers in the television series, he develops the misconception that he has super powers in real life. He thinks Penny has been abducted and goes on a mission to rescue her all the while Penny is in set. Throughout the movie bolt goes through a transformation where he learns to behave like humans and not be dependent on his imaginary super power.
2. Perdita (101 Dalmatians)
Perdita is the dalmatian of Anita from 101 Dalmatians who becomes the companion of Pongo who belongs to Roger. Perdita is a very a well coordinated and dignified, very much opposite to Pongo. When Cruella De Ville comes to her place to kidnap her 15 puppies, she is the first person to smell danger. Though she is very headstrong, she appears to get nervous in terrific situations and prefers to move away.
She loves her puppies as much as Pongo does and put herself in trouble for saving her puppies. We see her moving out of her principles for the sake of her family.
3. Lady (Lady and the Tramp)
Lady is a female cocker spaniel who leaves her owner’s place after they spend too much time with their new baby. She encounters Trump, a male stray mut who she falls in love with. When dog catchers take Lady away in their wagon, Tramp is helpless, later to blamed by Lady for not being able to save her. However, in the end when Lady and Tramp rush to save her owner’s baby and are about to fall into trouble, Lady’s owners come back to rescue them and adopt them both as their own.
4. Buddy (Air Bud : World Pup)
Buddy is an adorable golden retriever who plays in a soccer team along with his owner, Josh Framm. When Buddy was asked to be banished from the team, Josh and his friends get him back in the team. Buddy has puppies with Josh’s friend, Emma's dog, Molly. Their puppies get kidnapped by Snerbert and Webster but get rescued by Emma’s father. Buddy is a cute Disney dog name loved by so many dog parents.
5. Chloe (Beverly Hills Chihuahua)
Chloe is a Beverly Hills Chihuahua who is temporarily put in care of Rachel, her owner’s niece when she goes on a trip to Europe. Rachel in the meantime takes Chloe on a trip to Mexico where Chloe does not enjoy the environment with her and her friends and escapes. She gets lost in the city of Mexico when Delgado, an ex police K9 comes to her aid. Chloe returns to Beverly Hills with Delgago while Rachel asks her gardener and her dog , Papi to find Chloe. Chloe runs the risk of getting kidnapped but she and Delgago are saved by Papi who she finds true love with.
6. Dug (Up)
Dug is a very friendly golden retriever who is happy to meet new people. He talks with the help of a special collar across his neck that translates his thoughts into speech. When he goes on a mission to find the bird, Kevin his master, Charles Muntz has been trying to capture, he stumbles upon Carl Fredrickson and Russell. Dug takes a constant liking to Carl and wants to be with him. Carl is hesitant at first but when he accepts Dug as his own, his joy knew no bounds.
7. Stitch (Lilo and Stitch)
Stitch is a little dog who resembles a koala and is known for being best friends with his owner, Lilo. Stitch was an experiment by Jumba Jookiba who was meant to cause pandemonium across galaxies and diminish every thing he touches. He is a very naughty and mischievous dog who lands upon Lilo one fine day and becomes fast friends with her. He holds a very wise, hardy and intelligent character who won our hearts.
We can conclude that these adorable dog characters have won our hearts like crazy and will forever create the same impact upon us. We loved growing up watching these movies and we will show it to our children too!
