We’ve just talked about making sure you take all the essentials with you, but don’t end up on the opposite side of the spectrum. You don’t need to overpack when you’re visiting most countries around the world.

Everyone knows the human brain loves the sea, so you should be able to access it easily every day. In an ideal world, you won’t fall into the trap of sitting around the swimming pool at your hotel working on your tan.

Will your kid enjoy playing in the pool? Yeah, they will for a while. It won’t be long until they get bored. When they’re at the beach they’ll be able to play in the waves, dig holes, and build sandcastles.

6. Come Prepared For Numerous Delays

You could get stuck in traffic on your way to the airport. If the weather is bad your flight could be delayed. Maybe you’ll need to sit around waiting for hours if you book trips while on holiday.

I don’t need to tell you how challenging it will be for you, so think about how your kid will feel. Come prepared with something like an iPad. They’ll always be able to stay occupied if you run into trouble.

7. Book Somewhere With A Real Bedroom

Your hotel room should have at least (one separate bedroom). You don’t want all the beds to be squashed into the same space. It means you’ll be forced into bed at night when your child wants to sleep.

If there is a separate bedroom you’ll have a sofa bed to sleep on. You’ll be even luckier if you have a second bedroom. Either way, you’ll be able to stay up with your partner well into the night.
