From the time they are puppies until they are seniors, our dogs are there for us. So, we need to be there for them as well, and that means giving them the best care possible. In addition to regular vet visits, there are many things that we can do for the health and well-being of our canine companions. The first thing to do is to find the websites that have the best information about dogs. Here are nine of our favorites.
- Puppyhood – This is your go-to site for anything and everything you need to know about puppies. Find articles that give you real answers to real questions, use the Puppy Finder to adopt a new pet, choose a breed with the Puppy Picker, and give it a new name by using the Puppy Name Generator.
- Pooch Ventures – Your dog needs to be walked a few times each day, but you might not always have the time to do it. This is where a professional dog walker comes in. Depending where you are, you might want to check your local listings for dog walkers, for instance if you are in New York you might want to check out Pooch Ventures. Walks are GPS-tracked, and start at just $18. You can schedule a free walk to see if this is the right type of service for you.
- BarkBox – Subscribe to BarkBox, and receive a box filled with treats and toys for your pooch. Each month you will receive a box that contains at least two toys, two bags of all-natural treats, and a chew toy. If your dog doesn’t love everything in the box, you can send it back for a free replacement.
