Tis’ the season of Daddy & Daughter dances, and I swoon over these gorgeous photos on my newsfeed.
I see the sparkle in each little girl’s eyes.
So adored.
His princess.
My husband and I have only sons, so I’ve not spent the afternoon brushing hair and straightening bows.
But I do have a promise for the girl mamas waiting back at home:
There are Daddies the world won’t see tonight who are raising the kind of men who’ll dress up for the honor of such an occasion.
There are Daddies who care more about their sons respecting others and themselves than they care about hits and base runs.
There are Daddies leading by example and raising men to serve and cherish their wives and only love Jesus more.
There are Daddies raising the kind of men you are praying for.
Tonight.
Mamas, as I see the photos of your husbands and precious daughters, I see the love and the sacrifice and the beauty behind the camera, too.
And I thank God for parents like you.
Parents raising up the young ladies we’ll one day welcome as daughters into our home.
Treasures we’ve also been praying for.
As we scroll through our newsfeed.
Tonight. 💕
