Charting unknown territory can be tough.
It’s like feeling your way through a dark room that you’ve never been in before.
You’re confident that there’s a light switch somewhere, but you’re cautious because of all the obstacles that you could run into, flip over, or get banged up on.
You’re confident enough that there’s a light switch, that you keep moving forward but the fear of the pain that comes from running into obstacles, makes you hesitant in your stride.
In retrospect, it’s been in my darkest seasons that I learned to decipher God’s voice from the noise of the world more efficiently.
So even when darkness blanketed my life, keeping me from being able to naturally see the light, it’s in that same darkness where he conditioned me to be led by his voice.
America is feeling their way through a dark room right now, we don’t know what it’s going to take to get to that light switch, but as believers, we know that it’s there.
Keep feeling your way through, you might stub your toe on the coffee table or flip over the couch...
But keep feeling your way through...
What’s from the heart, reaches the heart, friends.
You may not know exactly what to say, how to contribute/ or who to talk to, but keep searching, keep listening with an open heart and pray to God for guidance.
Hand in hand, together, we’re going to feel our way through this dark uncharted territory and find the light.
For we know that darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that.
“Don’t worry about having the right words; worry more about having the right heart. It’s not eloquence he seeks, just honesty.” -Max Lucado
