When you get pregnant, there are so many things that go through your mind about all of the exciting things to come. This includes making the perfect nursery for your new baby.


My Co-Founder Beth loves animals and knew that she wanted an animal themed nursery from the minute she got pregnant. She had a few things in mind when creating the nursery. She wanted people to feel like they were walking into a whimsical jungle. She needed a place for visitors to sleep since the nursery was also her guest room. She wanted to be able to use any purchases that were made for years to come.


Here are the things that she did to make her vision come to life:

1. Went to the book store and found picture books that included the type of animals she wanted on the wall.
2. Hired an artist to take the pictures from the book and paint them on the wall. (The artist traced the animals onto a transparency and projected them onto the wall.)
3. Reused a trundle bed for guests that she previously had and decorated with throw pillows and blankets
4. Bought furniture that would be able to be used in the nursery but also as her son got older
