I believe I will have another coffee.
Perhaps another glass of wine.
I believe I will listen to a little more music. And sing my kiddos one more bedtime song, while they still let me.
I believe I will savor this moment in motherhood.
And soak in the moments I feel the presence of those we’ve lost.
I believe I will learn so much more down the road. And pray that cooking is one of those things.
I believe I will stick with my day planner. Even though I’ve tried to organize my life digitally three times.
I believe I’ll be okay letting some things go.
And be okay sometimes…. holding on.
I believe I’d like another walk in the woods. And on the beach. And around the lake.
And need another girl’s night out just like the guys should head out too.
I believe I’ll forever value my village.
And sometimes find asking for help tough to swallow.
I believe I’ll make another mistake or two or three or four or forty and I’ll fall, cry, laugh, grow, change and celebrate… all while enjoying another cup of coffee, I believe.
