Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

You are not alone. Your baby's life matters. I am so appreciative of the TODAY show's coverage on pregnancy and infant loss. This has been one of the most horrifically painful journeys I've ever walked. You don't get over — you get through.

We experienced five pregnancy losses and a stillborn son, Niklas. I never in a million would have thought I could experience beauty through pain ... and nothing will ever compensate the loss of these precious little ones that we longed for, prayed for and cried out for. Music has long been a healing source in my life, often sustaining my very life through many traumas. Who knew that it would be the very thing God would use to sustain me yet again and then use that to help others walking the same journey.

Through providential meetings with Nashville-based, award-winning songwriters, musicians and producers, I have been blessed to share our story of loss all over the world after recording two songs ("Before We Said Hello" and "Heaven's Playground") and writing a book, "Before We Said Hello." It has been so difficult — yet beautiful to see that we are not alone in this journey, moving forward with loss. Priceless to gain a tribe of people who understand. The loss remains, but we have gained much through it. Beauty in ashes, joy in pain. Best part? Niklas' feet are on the cover of the book!

Though his feet never touched the face of earth — and through his autopsy we learned he never would have walked here on earth — now, his feet are traveling all over the world! :) My prayers over all of the dear ones who are brave enough to share their stories here and who are traveling the road of remembering our little ones lost. Music can be listened to for free at www.beckynordquist.com or www.musicforthesoul.org and also is streamable everywhere. Be blessed all as we journey through healing and bring awareness and a voice to the often silent grief.
