I didn't sign up for this.
I didn't sign up to be the family manager, accountant, coach, counselor, keeper of all the things, reminder of where household items are located, guru of laundry, singer of lullabies, scrubber of the mystery puddle in the fridge, pee on the toilet seat wiper, poop plunger, sports equipment wrangler, keeper of secrets, drier of tears, driving instructor, English tutor, litterbox scooper, bed maker, argument referee, band-aid applier.
I didn't ask to be made the industrial strength glue for the family.
But I love WHO I do all these things for. I wouldn't trade any of it.
And I know being a mom is my superpower.
