Boys want to be their mama’s hero and their daddy’s best friend.

Boys want someone to protect and someone they can lean on that won’t ever bend.

Boys want to be brave and wild and free.

Boys want to run and play and yell, “Look at me!”

Boys want to pick up sticks and build and fight.

Boys want to test you and test their might.

Boys want to follow the leader and do what is honorable and right.

Boys want to show their courage and check their nerve.

Boys want to give their all and be found worthy to serve.

Boys want to be hugged and comforted when they fall.

Boys wants to know you believe in them with your all and all.

Boys want to run ahead and take ahold of the reins.

Boys want to find out for themselves if they can take the pain.

Boys want freedom and boys want fun.

Boys want to know they are loved a ton.

Boys want encouragement and need to know they can fail.

Boys want to know there is wind in their sails.
