Parenting is a beautiful chaotic Bermuda triangle of sweet insanity. And the biggest lie we tell ourselves? Is that we are stronger if we do everything. Without help. Bonus points if we can photograph it in the perfect light so #nofilter is needed on our social media. But in the mist of trying to look like we have it all together, we trick ourselves into thinking other moms actually have it all together.
The solution? Sweet and simple but the one I usually over look the most.
Call your friends.
Your mom friends in particular are probably going through the same exact things, and I promise will make you feel 1 degree less crazy. And any friend who is worth her stretch in yoga pants will not judge you for your over-whelmed mommy moments. Those ladies are your people. Treat them well and hold them close.
Because it doesn't just take a village to raise a child. It takes a tribe of understanding mom friends.
