Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

Somewhere lays a cross that was once held tight, so tight as if clinging to life, one more day, one more hour, just 5 more minutes.

Somewhere lays a cross that was prayed over and wept over and once had chip crumbs dropped on it as two best friends watched old episodes of sit com re-runs and laughed about the old days.

Somewhere lays a cross that fell between sheets and was frantically searched for after each nurses visit.

Somewhere lays a cross that fit perfectly in her hand between her fingers that she clinched when the pain came.

Somewhere lays a cross that our savior shed his blood upon

Somewhere lays a cross that gives redemption and life.

Somewhere lays a cross that is our catalyst for salvation.

Somewhere lays a cross that knows only pain and produces only hope.

Somewhere lays a cross that promises, without any doubt, I will one day see your face and hear your laugh again.

Thank you Jesus that somewhere lays a cross.
