One evening we were having dinner and my kids were complaining about the food on the table so I thought to myself enough is enough these kids need to know that not everyone has food on the table at dinner time. I then told all 5 of my kids to get in the car that we were going to find a place to serve food to those experiencing homelessness. What I thought was going to be a "I'll teach you experience" ended with me realizing that kids want to spread love and compassion in the world they just need opportunity! There were smiles and full hearts that evening. They didn't know that not everyone has food on the table at dinnertime and I felt it was my job as their Mom to continue finding ways to teach these important life lessons.

After years of creating these types of giving back experiences for families in cities around the country with my partner and close friend who is also a mother of 5 we decided to launch WeeWork for Good to empower busy parents with ways to teach compassion from the comfort of their homes. Our Arts & Crafts activity kits and our children's book 'WeeWalk in Someone Else's Shoes' are now available to families across the world.

This Valentine's Day kids can choose a social need they want to help with such as Health and Wellness or Animal Welfare, craft an item while learning about the need and how they are making the world bright! With each of our activity kits children receive a collectible miniature that serves as a reminder of how they spread love and an item is donated to a non-profit that supports the cause, YOU CREATE, WEE GIVE!
