She always has a hundred thoughts racing around in her brain.
Ninety-nine of them are of her children.
That other one, it's how she can be better...for them.
She always has a hundred thoughts racing around in her brain.
So if you see her with her head hanging low, or she seems distracted, it's because she is.
Distracted from them BY THEM.
By her worries,
fears,
hopes,
prayers,
wishes,
and the like
that her children become whoever the heck they want,
end up with whoever they want,
do with their lives whatever it is that they want
and that their one trip around the sun delivers to them a life full of transformative adventure and everything they desire and deserve
(and more).
Remember, she can't get them off her mind.
No matter how much she tries, she just can't escape those kids.
When she's with them, she's with them.
When she's with them, but you feel like she's not fully present, she's still with them.
And, when she's not with them, yep, you guessed it, she's with them even then.
She always has a hundred thoughts racing around in her brain.
And that can make her appear
preoccupied,
a bundle of nerves,
quiet,
and
unsettled.
But she will be alright, and because of and thanks to her, so will her kids.
She always has a hundred thoughts racing around in her brain.
Ninety-nine of them are of her children and all that she wants and must do for them.
So cut a mama some slack.
