Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

I see you.

I see you walking up and down the store aisles and dreaming.

I see you admiring rows of new school outfits, imagining what it’d be like to help your birth child get ready for their first day at school.

I see you wondering what it’d feel like to pack a lunch.

I see you gazing at school supplies.

I see your shopping cart empty, your mind full of memories.

I see you.

I see you looking out the window and wishing.

I see you watching as little ones jump from the school bus steps and into their mother’s arms.

I see you aching to help your birth child with homework and fix them an afternoon snack.

I see you wanting to ask, “How was your day at school?”

I see you longing to read your birth daughter/son a bedtime story and kiss them goodnight.

I see you.

I see your tears on every missed birthday.

I see your sadness when milestones disappear, one after the other.

I see you withdraw when others question your decision.

I see you grasp for meaning.

I see you hide from a world that doesn’t understand.

I see you.

I see your unconditional love.

I see your hopes and dreams for your child.

I see your willingness to give up yours for another day.

I see your strength.

I see your fears.

I see your courage.

I see your loss.

I see your pain.

I see you.

I see your heart begin to heal over days, months and years.

I see you come out of your shell.

I see you hold your head high.

I see you sharing your story.

I see you, one day soon, holding the hand of another birth mom who needs comfort.

I see you.

You are not invisible.

You are not alone.

You are seen by birth mothers everywhere.

We see you.
