Hey. Quick question.
Did you make time to take care of you today?
And by you:
I don’t mean mom-you.
I don’t mean employee-you
I don’t mean friend-you
Or daughter-you
Or caretaker-you
Or wife-you
I don’t mean all-things-for-all-people-you
I mean the you you tend to forget about.
To push aside.
To always put last.
The you that loves with a fierce intensity and hurts just as hard.
The you that is a person.
A woman.
A vessel.
A warrior.
A goddess.
That YOU.
Did you take care of her today?
She is passionate and kind and empathetic. She feels all the emotions and does all the things. She needs compassion and goodness and attention given to her the same way you give so selflessly to others.
She is you.
And she matters.
Don’t forget about her.
She deserves to be remembered.
She misses you.
Did you make time to take care of you today?
Let’s not forget about her tomorrow.
Love & Hugs,
